Booking an appointment
In line with the aims of the NHS, we offer a variety of appointments. Currently, we provide two types of appointment with the doctor:
- Pre-booked – for patients seeking an appointment more than 24 hours in advance. These are intended for reviews of existing conditions and for non-urgent problems. Please use the NHS App to book one of these appointments, or use the online form below.
- Same day – for patients with an urgent medical problem that requires a GP consultation on that day. The patient can phone the surgery in the morning and we will endeavour to give them an appointment for that day.
If you would like to discuss more than one problem with the doctor, or expect your appointment to last longer than ten minutes, please book a double appointment.
Appointments are for one person only. These measures are to ensure that the doctor can give you an appropriate length of consultation without inconveniencing our other patients.
Call the Surgery on 0161 702 8579 to book your appointment.

Home Visits
Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 11:00.
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under 5 years.
